provides tournament operational services that result in flawless
event development
as well as being managed with the guidelines of the governing
bodies and local organizations. Our operational service menu
will give you the opportunity to pick and choose those services
which best fit your overall needs for the event.
- Establish or revise the Event's logistical
plans, site and equipment layouts, operational schedules and
time lines.
- Advise and support all Pro-Am related services.
- Act as a liaison with the Professional TOURS
and governing bodies.
- Assist in the recommendation of vendors,
including but not limited to, tents, signs, bleachers, concessions
and such other
vendors as are necessary for operation of an Event. Attend advance
vendor meetings/site visit as required. (2 max)
- Assist in scheduling committee meetings
and volunteer training sessions.
- Organize communications systems and supply
the Motorola radios.
- Support the volunteer scoring operations.
- Stake and rope the golf course of the facility
to ensure it meets the appropriate TOUR guidelines.
- Assist with on course vehicle placement
(i.e. sponsor cars, display cars, etc.).
- Advise in location of all electronic scoreboards
and scoring structures.
- Liaison between tournament and television
networks during advance week and tournament week, as well as
all on-course tower placements.
- Assist with the course sign plan.
- Implement a course evacuation plan.
- Supply
documents for appropriate procedures for hospitality, registration, housing
transportation and finance office functions.
- Locate concessionaires and determine optimum
locations for concession stands.
- Assist
with the development of the traffic flow pattern and parking
plans.
- Target locations for
first aid faciities.
- Assist in the development
of a disaster and emergency evacuation plan.
- Assist with emergency
vehicles on course.
- Target all spectator bleacher locations.
- Attend the pre-tournament meeting with Tournament Staff and
committee leaders.
- Assist in overall volunteer services (pre-tournament,
tournament and post-tournament).
- Instruct pre-tournament and tournament training
sessions with volunteer committees to ensure that all volunteers
are trained
for the tasks and equipment use to which they will be assigned
during the tournament (i.e. marshals, standard bearers, communications,
etc.).
- Implement a course evacuation plan for Tour players,
volunteers, caddies and spectators.
- Supply documents for
appropriate procedures for hospitality, registration, housing,
transportation and finance office functions.
- Obtain TOUR specifications for course layout.
- Act as a liaison between tournament officials,
TOUR officials and television networks.
- Review ES pre-event check-list.
- Assign the placement of all temporary structures
and scoring structures.
- Designate appropriate locations
for all restroom facilities and waste receptacles.
- Coordinate the distribution of ES two-way
Motorola radios.
Communicate with TOUR officials, tournament
management staff and television networks.
- Assist the tournament staff in managing
the tour scoring and communications networks.
- Assist the tournament staff in managing
all areas pertaining to manual scoring, greenside reporters,
shot links, lasers, media
center scoring and monster board.
- Assist and support the tournament draw method
and format.
- Prepare and instruct volunteers and host
site staff for Pro-Am draw and awards party.
- Assist in the collection of scorecards and manage the scoring
results for the Pro-Am tournament and more.
- Organize the Pro-Am logistical set-up with committees. In such areas
as Pro-Am registration, Pro-am gift distribution, bag drop location and
procedure, golf cart set-up and rules sheets.
- Assist the Pro-am committee with all pro-am functions.
- Supply one (1) Jumbo "hole by hole" leaderboard (used at the 18th green) together with one (1) set of magnetic letters and numbers.
- Supply one (1) Pressroom "hole by hole" leaderboard, together with one (1) set of magnetic letters and numbers.
- Supply forty (40) standards, players names, scoring numbers and aprons for the numbers.
- Supply a complete complement of Motorola radios for communications, as well as complement of chargers and spare batteries.
- Supply 1st and 10th tee starter boxes.
- Supply a full complement of caddie bibs and names.
- Supply five (5) leaderboards utilizing 4" magnetic letters and numbers.
- Supply two (2) leaderboards utilizing 5" magnetic letters and numbers.
- Supply one (1) portable PA system.
- Supply stakes (1,500) and rope (60,000 ft.). The tournament will supply individuals to assist ES in the staking and roping process as well as the teardown at the completion of the tournament. (Storage of the stakes is the responsibility of the tournament).
- Maintain the ropes throughout tournament week.
- Supply and place the water coolers at the tee boxes. (Water, ice and cups is the tournaments' responsibility).
- Fill the water coolers at the start of each day, as well as maintain them throughout the day.
